Congratulations! You have purchased RAW human hair. This means that it will cooperate the same as your natural hair! It was grown from a human scalp and will need to be treated as such. Please remember to also set realistic expectations with RAW human hair, especially with higher-maintenance textures.

Our curly textures require a more extensive haircare regimen, and this is simply due to the structure of curly hair strands. Again, when purchasing curly hair, it is important to have a realistic expectation of the maintenance that goes into having beautiful curls. Our curly textures are cut from single donors and known for looking as if the hair was your natural hair! You must understand that it will function as such and will need to be maintained accordingly. 

Keep in mind when curly hair is lacking moisture, the more it will expand or swell with humidity. Curly hair is more porous than straight textures therefore it tends to pull moisture from the air causing the hair to swell. Once the hair swells and the cuticles become rough the hair may lose its curl pattern and become less visually appealing. This also leads to tangling and matting as the strands rub together. Therefore, it is important to follow a routine care regimen with curly hair to help combat these issues. 

We recommend that you deep condition and have a regular hair care routine in place, so your hair is more manageable, softer, and less prone to breakage and frizz.
